Today we went into Liverpool.  I’m realizing more and more how much I love being back in this wonderful place.  I love the weather, the people, the sights, and even the ducks.  I wonder if there is something within me that really is calling to this place as my home.  I know that I have ancestors from the British isles and maybe its that part of me that makes it feel as if I am home.  It is also so wonderful to see my friends from last year and to make new ones.  On the train back from Liverpool, Margeret got into a discussion with some other people from our group about politics.  An Englishman chimed in and voiced his great approval for Obama and for the direction that our government is headed in.  One of the best things that he said was that as long as someone is doing good for the country it doesn’t matter what party they are from.  We were happy to hear praise for our own government and to hear the man’s opinions. I find that people here are the same way about their government as we are.  I think people, no matter where they are from are never really satisfied with their government.
