Today we took a long drive up to the Lake District to Grasmere and Windermere.  Grasmere is where Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth, is located.  We were able to see the cottage in small groups before heading out to the garden in the back of the house.  I was also able to experiment with my new camera on all of the beautiful flowers there.  After that we ventured down to Bowness on Windermere.  We had lunch quickly and then took a lovely boat ride on lake Windermere, luckily we made it back to the bus before they left without us! The lake district was lovely, and I find it very hard to believe that so many people could ever fit into Dove Cottage at one time.  It is amazing! All in all, it was another successful trip to the Lake District.
