Hey guys,
Normally on trips that involve volunteer work we try to bring items for the sites, please read below and let me know if you have any questions... ITEMS TO BRING FOR VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT Maybe little packets of things for the children. There are around 75 kindergarten students and 3 hard-working teachers. Maybe: coloring pencils coloring books play-doh games soccer balls jump ropes Kids motivational posters books (in Spanish) and perhaps even things like tooth paste, tooth brushes, combs, soaps, etc And of course, kids always like candy, which is good to bring because they get really excited about, but not too much. I would stay away from chocalate items and gum. If youwant to bring something nice for the teachers, that would be great also, like an agenda, nice pen, etc. Whatever you bring will be appreciated greatly. What we usually do is the last day of project work we have little celebration party and thats when they can give away their donations. If you don't want to bring all the stuff with you... there is a large supermarket- Chedraui - that is near all the homestays where you could go buy some things there. Thanks guys! |
